TOPIC: History of horticulture in Santa Barbara.

The meeting took place at the Tiki Bar on the Bragg's farm. We started off with a tour of the area around the tiki bar.

Patricia also has several doll houses. These are diminutive houses that are filled with dolls. Each doll house has a unique theme.

After our tour we had lunch in the tiki bar where Grant Castleberg delivered his informative lecture with a photo-laden powerpoint presentation.

PLANT SALE

In conjunction with the CALM antique show, our annual plant sale will be held at the EARL WARREN SHOWGROUNDS. Members should meet at the Show Grounds on Friday. We will begin at 7am where the first loads of plants will be unloaded and then drivers and plant providers will be organized to go pick up additional loads. The sale begins at noon on Friday. The sign up sheet will be in the booth which wiil be available for future sign in's. On Saturday and Sunday, the hours will be 9am to 5pm. Erik's pancake breakfast will be on Sunday from 7:30 until 9am. Please commit to help the plant sale by providing plants, assisting with sales, or providing a donation for our scholarship program.
