Larry has a large lot and is growing a food forest, including a variety of fruit trees. He spoke to us about his orchard and plantings. He provided us with a video which highlighted much of his yard.

Larry also provided us with some local tips, such as the best peaches to grow locally, which is the best rootstock to graft onto, the benefits of grafting multiple peach types onto a single rootstock (extends season), and more.

Larry also talked about the effects of the drought and how important it is to provide water for the trees during drought conditions. It's possible to use water that would normally go down the drain to provide water for long term plants, such as trees, during drought conditions.

Spring is upon us and the wildflowers and succulents are coming into bloom.
